Covid-19 Protocols for ALL WRRC programming

We ask that participants are self screened (see the COVID-19 Screening Tool) prior to arriving/participating. If anyone is feeling unwell and experiencing symptoms similar to the cold or flu, we ask that they not participate.

All participants will sanitized prior to participating in the activity. Hand sanitizer will be available.

Many of our programs will be taking place outdoors. Please dress for the weather! (sunscreen, water, bug spray, etc) If you have any questions, please donโ€™t hesitate to let us know. For outdoor activities. Masks will not be required when physical distancing can be maintained, although participants are welcome to wear them if they are more comfortable. 

Due to current Covid-19 Restrictions, masks are REQUIRED in all indoor spaces, including programming spaces that are indoors.

Admission will be FREE but donations greatly appreciated and accepted at the door.

The Whitemouth Child Care Committee will be offering a canteen with all proceeds going to the Child Care Committee.  Snacks include: Hotdogs, Drinks, Chips and popcorn.

Secure your spot at the event by filling out our event form. Completing the form is not required, but recommended in order to secure a space at the event. This will also help us gauge how many people to expect to prepare our canteen/food services. RESERVE YOUR SPOT HERE.

โ€ข We recommend you sign up for this event in advance. Capacity limits are in place in order to comply with current Public Health order.
โ€ข In order for this event to comply with current Covid-19 restrictions, all spectators must watch the movie from within their vehicle, or directly beside your vehicle.
โ€ขIf you choose to sit outside your vehicle to watch, you must ensure physical distancing between other spectators is met and you must stay directly next to your vehicle.
โ€ข Porta Potties will be available for use.
โ€ขAccess inside the Elma Community Club will not be allowed.
โ€ข We ask that you please wear a mask when lining up and visiting our outdoor canteen.
โ€ขDouble vaccination is not required for this type of event.
โ€ขOur staff will be helping direct vehicles to ensure spacing and safety can be maintained. Please be patient as they guide you.

Some other helpful Drive-In Movie Etiquette:
โ€ข Once parked, turn off your lights (all of them)
โ€ขShut off your car
โ€ขUse a portable radio for listening (as to not kill your vehicle battery) or put your vehicle in Accessory mode if using your car radio
โ€ขBe mindful of other people's view
โ€ขAlcohol is not permitted

Entry to the movie will be open 40 minutes prior to movie time. We ask that you arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to show time!

Science Club

Discover the science behind some of your favorite summer activities. Dig into some outdoor fun and learn how to be a nature detective. Be inspired to go out and explore the science all around you with tips, tricks and hands-on activities! Ages 6 and up. Parents are welcome to stay during the program, or drop their child off (pre-registration required).

Date: Tuesdays July 20-August 31, 2021 l 1:00-2:30 pm l No class August 17, 2021

Walk & Talk Program

Join us for a weekly walking program, where we will start with a warm up, walk and then cooldown & stretch. Walk with start at the Whitemouth Happy Hours Club at 10:00 am. No registration required. All ages welcome. FREE.

Runs Mondays July 26-August 30, 2021. No program August 2, 2021. 

Summer T-Ball

Join the WRRC for SUMMER T-BALL! ๐Ÿโšพ

T-Ball is a team sport based on and simplifying baseball and softball. It is intended as an introduction for children to develop ball-game skills and have fun!

Dates: Thursdays starting July 29, 2021.

Location: Whitemouth School Playground

Ages 4-6 years - 6:00-6:45 pm  l   Ages 7-9 years - 6:00-7:00 pm  l   Total cost: $30.00 per participant

Dance Clinics

Join Tarantism Dance Company for a morning of DANCE! Beginners and experienced dancers welcome.  

Date: Friday, August 13, 2021  l   Location: Behind the Whitemouth Hall (outdoors on grass space)

Ages 3-6 l 10:00-10:45 am    l    Ages 7-13  l 11:00 am-12:00 pm  l   Register HERE.

Pre-registration is required . Cost is $5.00 per child.  l  Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing they can move in and to bring a water bottle and sunscreen. 

Art in the Park

Kids will create artwork to feel proud of while learning various drawing, painting and mixed media art techniques and experimenting with art supplies such as color pastel painting, watercolor painting, collage materials, pencil sketching, and more all while enjoying the outdoor setting. Ages 5 and up.

Community Campfire

July 30 &  August 27, 2021   l   7:00 pm   l   Moon Gate Guess House.

Enjoy an evening of music, story telling and campfire fun while relaxing in the ambiance of the Whitemouth River at Moon Gate Guess House. Event is free although you may want to come early with some cash to enjoy one of Moon Gate's delicious wood fired pizzas!  Location: 61105 PR 406

Don't forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket, your singing voice and bug spray!  Please respect physical distancing  while enjoying the event.

Game Stop

Calling all pre-teens and teens - this one is for you! Join us weekly as we play various games including computer games, video games, board games and more! 

Mask use will be required indoors.  Please note no program will be held on  August 5 & 19, 2021. Ages 10-17.

Toddler Stay N' Play

Join us weekly, where your toddler will participate in tons of different games and activities that emphasize development of physical literacy skills with fun, and socialization! This program is programmed for children ages 2-5 years old, however older siblings are also welcome to attend and play with their family. A parent/guardian is required to stay during the program and assist their child in the fun & games!

Roadside Recreation

Let us bring recreation, play and sport to you! Join us for a FREE recreation program. This program is open to all ages and a great way to spend an hour of fun & games from the comfort of home or public space of your choice. Our recreation staff will plan a one hour session for you, your kids or the whole family. During registration, you will select what type of games, activities, etc. you would like to do, and our staff will customize the session to your preferences. Parents are welcome to stay or may also have our staff supervisor for the hour timeslot.
